Sarah carved eighteen (yes, eighteen) pumpkins. She does it every year. There are some awfully good pumpkins at the link. Me? I contributed the tea lights for some of them.
Awesome carving of a cat. Well, they’re all pretty good. The turtle eating a sandwich was Max’s request. He loves turtles. We didn’t ask him about the sandwich.
18 pumpkins….what is she doing with them now? Into the compost pile or maybe pie?

Most of it went to the deer. She put it out in the woods. The good ones’ guts were turned into pumpkin seeds.

We had a big pumpkin toss and smash in the woods a year or so ago on Nate’s birthday. Otherwise I haul them out into the woods for the wildlife to feast upon.
