I saw a picture of a Brooklyn brownstone on torah tidbits (http://www.ou.org/torah/tt) as a logo or symbol for the new year.
5-770 (770 Eastern Parkway is the headqaurters of Chabad Lubavitch)
No matter how religious one is (or is not), one can certainly come up with something to tie them together as a symbol of the new year.
