If by "pro-Israel" you mean "determined to remake Israel into a perfect peaceful society with rivers of honey and ambrosia and a high-tech industry powered entirely by unicorn farts, and willing to support its destruction and the slaughter of all its people if they refuse to stop whining about how such things can't be done," then yes, J-Street is VERY pro-Israel.
Those of us who live in the real world, however, tend to see their blithe suggestions as nothing more than a disingenuous means to bring about Israel's destruction. The "one makes peace with one’s enemies not one’s friends" slogan gives it away completely, as SoccerDad pointed out... not by what it says, but by what it omits.

I don't think you're being entirely fair here, Dad. J Street is indubitably pro-Israel, if by "pro-Israel" you mean sort of a Platonic essence of Israel, a country that fulfills each and every one of its highest ideals, that provokes no enmity from surrounding countries and Palestinians, who have been annointed an approved, non-white, colonized people. If you mean an Israel whose actions and pronouncements would cause no hackles to rise among the bien-pensants of the world left, then J Street is pro-Israel and I'll dispute anyone who says otherwise.
However, Dad, if you mean the actually existing Israel, a nation that like all human institutions falls short of its ideals, a country of real people who sometimes are not as gentle with people who want to kill them as they might be, and more importantly, a country that is not seen as an outpost of horrid and oppressive western colonialism, then no, they are not pro-that Israel.
Remember, we're speaking about a group whose position regarding Operation Cast Lead was less supportive of Israel than the Egyptian foreign ministry.

J-Street is entirely successful at its only mission, which is to draw attention to itself.
