Best Of The Jewish/Israeli Blogosphere- Movie Review

Friends as usual it is my privilege to let you know about the latest edition of Haveil Havalim, the Best of the Jewish/Israeli Blogosphere.

It is a weekly blog carnival that you can use to see what the Jblogopshere thinks of news, current events, culture, politics, history and much more. This week’s edition is number 226 and can be found right here.

Please go read, comment and help promote it by providing links on your own sites as well.

In addition I’d like to offer a quick review of  Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. I have seen all of the movies and read all of the books. I thought that this was excellent and definitely worth the price of admission.

However, I didn’t particularly enjoy listening to the guy next to me ask his friend to fill him in on all of the details of Harry Potter. Stupid Muggle. It is not like the books haven’t been out for years.

Since he wouldn’t shut up I took great pleasure in telling him that Dumbledore dies. You should have seen the look on his face when he complained that I ruined the movie for him. Not like his running commentary added anything to the flick for me.

Maybe next time I’ll carry a taser with me.

Anyhoo, let’s recap. Haveil Havalim and Harry Potter are good. Talking in movies is bad.

Go read the carnival and then go see the movie. You’ll thank me later.

Actually, you shouldn’t be carrying a taser.

You KNOW what you should be carrying.

More on this later this week.

I just need to find some tail hair of a talking donkey. They usually become apparent after Parshath Balaq, but I haven’t had much luck.

You think I’m kidding, don’t you?

    Dumbledore dies?!!?

Of course. I speak softly and carry a big stick.

    Dumbledore dies?!!?

Want to see my dog tags, the ones that say I am part of Dumbledore’s army. ;)
