I remember that he had a whole shpiel emailed to him from the campaign to convince his grandparents and other elderly Jews to vote for Obama. Basically the point was to convince them that all the stuff in your blog post would not happen if Obama was elected. As a politically conservative Jew I pick and choose my battles with my family over politics. My cousin is a good kid but he had a real strong case of hopeandchangitus.
