Eat Meat

Filed under: EATAPETA — Meryl Yourish @ 10:49 am

It’s IEATAPETA Day.

Go out and enjoy that tasty chicken or beef or whatever else you’re going to have today.

Or, as Bart wouldn’t say: Have a cow, man.

  1. Oh, yes, definitely. And, if I may suggest it, it’s a great day to skritch a furry carnivore or two as well.

  2. Chicken for lunch, and a hamburger for supper.

  3. I’m a little behind. Cereal for breakfast and only tuna for lunch, but definitely steak tonight. Yum!

  4. Though I’m a vegetarian I was just craving a reuben yesterday.
It was very good-and I made an italian chicken soup for a potluck today.

  5. Going to Chima, an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse. Life is good.

  7. Sorry I forgot about this day until now. But I did have a nice sea-kitten sandwich for lunch.

  8. Darnit, I forgot.
I hope tonight is close enough. I have some lamb sausage in the freezer.

I like to eat that and/or veal sausage or ground veal or something every IEATAPETA Day. Last year I think I made spagetti sauce with veal and lamb meatballs and veal sausage (lamb sausage does not go with spagetti sauce).

It just seems to make it meaner and if there’s something to warm the cold cockles of my evil heart, it’s angry PETA nitwits.
