What is depressing is that his hateful comments and lies have, in the minds of many Useful Idiots, a certain degree of credibility owing to the fact that he was President of the United States once upon a time. I'd remind such Useful Idiots that Carter's failure to deal forcefully and immediately with Iran during the hostage crisis has emboldened radical Muslims everywhere, and is a key contributor to many of today's jihad-related miseries.
