I called the doc back and said I didn't see how topical cream would stop the progression of this problem. And I slept for two hours this afternoon, after sleeping a full eight hours last night. So I think that perhaps I am not imagining things. I had chills an hour ago, and my temp is about one degree below normal---which is how I get when I'm sick. On the other hand, Gracie's mew is coming back. I may still bring her in to get an X-Ray tomorrow, but that's good news. Got antibiotics. Most of the right side of my head, from jaw to scalp, is swollen and painful to the touch. I called my doctor again. I don't know that Gracie had anything but cat food in the last few days.
