That point highlights the one concern I have about this operation, which is that in the long run, this may be Hamas ‘taking one for the team’ by distracting Israel from bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities. Yesterday was the last new moon before Obama takes office…in other words, it was the most likely day for Israel to act against Iran. And she was busy in Gaza.

Please remember that when you hear the idiots out there saying that Hamas will moderate its views. It has not done so in two years of ruling Gaza.
