As Hugh Fitzgerald has pointed out many times; the Qur'an decrees that ALL land ever controlled by Muslims must remain under their domain forever. Thus for the Arabs, there is nothing to discuss and "international law and the basic principles of justice and equity" is all just so much hummus for the benefit of the stupid infidel. This is really the crux of the matter. As Hugh Fitzgerald has pointed out many times; the Qur’an decrees that ALL land ever controlled by Muslims must remain under their domain forever.
