Before 1948 if you found somebody who called himself a Palestinian you could be sure he was Jewish; the Arabs of Mandate Palestine refused to use the term, calling themselves Syrians or just Arabs. Their insistance that they are undergoing a nonexistent "Holocaust" at the hands of Israel just puts the frosting on their propaganda cake. The ironic part is that the Palestinians would not exist as a nationality but for Israel. If the Arabs ever got their way, God forbid, and destroyed Israel, the Palestinian Arabs would also cease to exist. Israel's passing would unleash a huge regional war over who would get the spoils. Since intra-Arab wars are primarily exercies in the murder of civilians, either the Palestinians would be killed or they would flee the various armies surging through Eretz Israel. As refugees then, they would not get the world's dole or sympathy that they get now, because it would not be the Jews killing them.
