I've been a girl gamer ever since 1981 - yup, 1981 - and started out spending endless hours solving various titles of interactive fiction games written by the brilliant team of the now defunct company Infocom. Those were played on the Atari 800, which I still have in a box somewhere along with all of my Infocom box art and 5.25" diskettes. My passion then extended to the Atari 2600, then of course, I got my first PC and it extrapolated from there. I also bought an XBox a few years ago and a Nintendo DS. Some of the best titles I ever played were Deus Ex, the Gabriel Knight series, American MaGee's Alice in Wonderland, Doom, System Shock II and oh gosh, the list goes on and on. For great articles on the Wii, including of course game reviews and previews, pick up a copy or subscribe to Nintendo Power. Enjoy. I'm almost jealous. ;)

The Wii is a fine party game. We had a bunch of people over this evening, and playing Wii Fit provided endless amusement. And abasement.

We're getting our son one for Hanukkah but Hanukkah might come earlier than planned this year. I'd love to hear game suggestions which will keep my kid off the couch. The wife cannot wait for Guitar Hero.

A Wii?! Woohoo! I bought mine on Release Day and had a lot of fun with it until I realized I had way too many games unfinished. I became the Coolest. Uncle. Ever. when I gave the Wii to my nieces. I still play it now and again, though.
