I am sure that Democrats are shaking in their boots about Palin 2012. And if Meryl wants to focus on domestic politics, that is her choice. At least she comes at it with a more moderate tone then other right wing blogs.

Gary … I have commented not at all about this “Palin & Africa” tempest in a teapot. In fact, I do not recall commenting on this or any other “wacked-out inane conspiracy theory” — from either side of the aisle. As for Governor Palin, I have not commented about her since before the election.

If I do “take a powder” after reading this blog for years and years, by the way, it will be only because it left me first. Meryl has been a great complement to Treppenwitz, Honest Reporting, CAMERA, and a number of others. But if she takes her blog in this new domestic direction (as is her right), LGF, Hot Air, Powerline, and others are all far better options for the same POV.

Palin is a delegate to the NAFTA northwestern transportation/trade council…the actual name and acronym for which escapes me at the moment.

The “Palin is ignorant of NAFTA! ZoMG!1!!” stories are not just wrong they are obviously, indefensibly wrong and speak to the profound ignorance or malice (or both) of those peddling this asshattery.

I think a lot of the malice directed at Palin is due to : People who spent a lot of time & money getting advanced degrees and very much resent the ability of someone to gain success without having done the same.

I further suspect that the squishier the degree in question, and the less value it has in the job market, the stronger to aforesaid resentment will generally be.
