Paper stronger than steel

Via Glenn Reynolds, they’re making paper that’s stronger than steel, using nanotechnology.

Rosie O’Donnell says that fire can’t burn it.

  1. It conducts electricity so would not so good around my cats especially since they chew thru electric cords. I can see it now, exposed wire makes contact with sofa made of buckypaper, turn on light – house goes up in flames. I’ll stick to hoping they’d make sofa upholstery out of kevlar. That would be kitty-proof. And fireproof.
