		<description>The problem with the Q&amp;A isn&#039;t that Witte has a liberal point of view on Israel (which is basically what Soccerdad means by &quot;adopting the Palestinian narrative&quot;). Instead there are two problems: first, Witte evidently didn&#039;t want to tick off questioners, so rather than confront the more tendentious comments he got all analytical. Second, he was determined to maintain a journalistic &quot;two sides to every issue&quot; psuedo-objectivity, to the point of writing a platitude like &quot;There are two peoples living on this land, and we cover both.&quot; 

It would have been a more interesting Q&amp;A if Witte had simply stated his own opinions and then let the Post&#039;s readers decide if his opinions bias his reporting.</description>
