He was listening to Levi Eshkol talking about the latest (futile) diplomacy to get the Sharm al-Sheikh opened and Egypt to rremove its troops from the Sinai. He heard Eshkol fumbling about during the speech. Exasperated, the sergeant said to the radio "Levi Son of Deborah, let us do the talking."
