The decision to abandon it was a disaster which brought Israel nothing in the way of true peace and only liberated Hamas to attack Israel at will. Retaking Gaza is the only thing that will end the Qassam attacks. The world may condemn it, but they condemn Israel no matter what she does. The Palestenians and their allies, especially the Iranians won't be satisfied with anything short of the dissolution of the Jewish state. Israel should stop pussyfooting around
