29 months ago, I didn’t know what it was like to be a cat owner. Now I do after adopting a Calico named Cali and a big dumb silver tabby named Chester.

And I don’t know what I’d do if either or them were no longer there to greet me when I come home from work.

My heart and prayers go out to you. This sounds like what I went through with my precious Pluto. I completely understand what you’re feeling.

I had my Indy for about 3 more years after Pluto died. Indy became a much more cuddly kitty, which amazed me. I had thought of her as almost 100% independent since she was such an accomplished hunter. Turned out, she liked being only-kitty. You just never know.

My thoughts are with you … all of you.

It’s hard to even think about letting them go, let alone have it happen. He’s been such a great pet and so funny. He’s going to be missed by a lot of people, me included.

This breaks my heart. Tig sounds like the male counterpart of Matata, who does the exact same things…including the morning Wake-Up Call.
