I had a post written this morning, but I forgot to save it before I shut down Firefox, and I thought I published it, but I hadn’t, and so, it’s in the ether.

Well, I went shopping this afternoon. Bought a few presents for myself, some needed household items, and groceries. I’m tired. Posting can wait.

Tigger is feeling better. He got IV fluids yesterday, which always make him feel better. I’m probably going to learn how to give him subcutaneous fluids myself. Sarah has agreed to help if need be. I found a website that gives tons of information about feline kidney failure, or chronic renal failure, as she calls it. I will be a bit more argumentative at the vet’s on Monday, I think, about Tig’s diet.

The other good news is that we have a compounding pharmacy in the Richmond area, and the brilliant pharmacists there took aluminum hydroxide and mixed it with tuna-flavored liquid for a medicine that I can mix into Tig’s food. He eats nearly all of it, and I no longer have to try to force a foul-tasting liquid antacid down his throat. Hm. I should email Helen about that.
