What I have always found interesting is the absence of any Palestinian statement along the lines of: "We welcome any Jews who choose to live in the democratic Palestinian state. Of course, such people, existing in the harmony that existed between Jews and Moslems until Zionism stirred up ill feelings, will be subject to Palestinian laws."

Now, everyone knows precisely what that would mean and except for Neturai Karta and assorted similar fringe idiots no one would be stupid enough to accept such an offer. But not only have the Palestinians never offered such a statement, I doubt it's occurred to them to do so.

With much to gain from such a pronouncement and little to lose, why haven't they even thought about it? I suggest the answer to that question indicates a lot about Palestinian thinking.
