Thanks for hosting the open debate on what is a very serious question.

I have been fuming all day, since I heard about the odious comparison between the UK now and Nazis, and I couldn’t put my finger on why I was so angry, apart from thinking

a)hundreds of thousands of Commonwealth people of all religions died to defend a way of life

b) millions of Jews, gypsies, gays and others were systematically exterminated.

I am not aware that Gordon Brown’s government is doing b). Am I missing something?

As you say, the comparison tries to paint the Muslims as victims.

But the terrorists we are facing in Britain are Muslims, not Catholics, Jews, Buddhists, or whatever. To pretend otherwise is disingenuous.

Let us also not forget that Muslims all round the world are quite happy to:

a) Kill other Muslims

b) Kill Jews (if they could, all of them)

c) Kill Christians (if they could, all of them), as they are currently doing in Iraq

d) Enslave women

In the UK it is now getting very difficult to say the obvious truth without being accused of being a racist and a Nazi. This is infuriating for Jewish people, and for other people, like me, who oppose violence and unreason.

Actually what he is saying is If we can get Britain to surrender to us we will institute A “nazi-like climate of fear” against all who oppose us.”
