The answer is painfully simple. The U.S government still refuses to define the enemy in terms of Jihadists and refuses to develop a policy on Islamism. The private anti-terror groups should deserve every bit of kudos for trying to do what the most powerful government in the world lacks the resolve to do itself. The real question that should be asked is why is the U.S. government dependent on any private anti-terror organizations in the first place. The answer is painfully simple. We're going to commit societal suicide, and I have no idea how the trend can be reversed.
