The Pharaohs of Tehran have been a pain in the rear end to us for 28 years and counting, so by Rafsanjani's own logic we would be justified in some rather drastic action against him, his buddies, and the whole country of Iran. He may want to rethink his premise, quite apart from his assertion being a lie in the first place. I assume that fact holds no status in his eyes. There will be no safety for anyone, Iranian, Israeli, American, or Arab for that matter, until these evil clowns are overthrown and forked out of their positions of power in Tehran. It seems the Iranians do not have enough strength to carry on another revolution. That just shows how much more ruthless these bastards are than was the Shah, for they are more abusive and oppressive than he was. Iran needs a Pinochet, who will overthrow the Pharaohs before they destroy the country. Faster, dammit. Well let’s see.
