Make sure you do a BBB search on the builder (and be sure to look carefully into "resolved" complaints-- BBB tends to mark everything resolved after a period of time). Plus, a friend of mine already lives there. Some people tell me I should get a realtor and keep looking. But I've found the place I really, really, really like, and would frankly move in tomorrow if I could. I'm trying to decide if I should keep looking or not. I've done a lot of research into new construction in Richmond. Once I eliminate townhouses (and stairs), there isn't a whole lot. The friends who tipped me off to the job opportunity live in NoVa, and have taken me to Wegman's, Trader Joe's, and a variety of restaurants. Plus they've helped me find kosher butcher shops, etc. I'm quite famliar with Rockville now. I like the Royal Dragon. Maybe a lunch there on a Sunday that I'm not teaching.
