Thank you.

She's doing okay, at night her temp spikes. Another few days and we should be through this.

I can't believe after how she looked last night she's standing next to me right now smacking my leg with a spatula....

I'm glad I'm not the only "nut" that thinks it's better to deal with a problem BEFORE it comes to genocide.

Though unfortunately it seems that to become a world leader you need to have a lobotomy.

I dread the future.

Ron Paul and Dennis Kuchinich: either you can read or you cannot. Either you are fools...well, you are fools.
And as to dear 43: the irani government is not our friend.
How hard is this for these morons to understand?

"One reason the present feels so much like what the 1930s must have felt like is that people had the same problem believing Hitler."

Heck, the German intellectuals themselves made jokes about it throughout the 1930s.

Q: How do you know an Arayan when you see one?

A: He's as tall as Goebbels, as handsome as Goering, and as blonde as Hitler.

"The more we do to you, the less you seem to believe we are doing it." - Joseph Mengele

Elizabeth, you are quite wrong. Moslems respect other religions...as long as the other religions know their place, which is not on an equal level with Islam.

Careful Snoopy, there are idiots out there who cannot tell when you are using satire. The first thing that happens when someone becomes an anti-Semite is that his sense of humor is surgically removed. After all, since so many comics are/were Jewish, a sense of humor might make them appear to agree with Jooooos

Long Rifle, it's not just Gorilla Boy who has promised Israel her very own nuke when Iran gets its hands on one. Back in 2001 Rafsanjani, Gorilla Boy's chief rival for the Presidency, and a former President of Iran himself, said that as soon as "Islam" got a bomb they would lob it at Tel Aviv. Retaliation did not matter, because one bomb would destroy Israel while any retaliation would leave much of "Islam" intact.

Part of the problem of getting the world to act against Iran is, I think, that most people cannot believe that what these lunatics say is actually what they believe and what they will do if given the chance. This is a lack of imagination that is very widespread, especially among our elites who discount the role of religion in society anyway. One reason the present feels so much like what the 1930s must have felt like is that people had the same problem believing Hitler. Of course logically the experience with Hitler ought to make people take these clowns serioously, but people, especially those in high office, don't seem to have the imagination to understand what is going on.

A few months ago one of my friends, coming across something like this and knowing that I kept track of these things, said that it showed him the kind of world I lived in. His tone made it plain that a world of realizing that genocide and mass murder are on the boil was not an attractive place to be. Meryl lives in that world even more than I do.

I might also point out that Israel is not the only one Iranian officials have threatened. Iran's equivalent of National Security Advisor, back in 2002 I think, commented in an interview that Iran had developed a plan to bring down both the USA and Britain by destroying 29 sites whose destruction would result in the destruction of those two nations. I'm not sure if anybody in the governments of the USA or Britain has taken this seriously. I would. I go by the Lesson of the Nazis: If someone says he wants to kill you, believe him. My corollary is: Kill him first if he threatens you.

There has been a tremendous amount of diplomatic effort with Iran over its nuke program. It has all been futile and will continue to be so. There is nothing more attractive to the Pharaohs of Tehran than nukes. They will give Iran high prestige, make everybody fear them, give them cover for whatever terrorism and atrocities they want to commit, enable them to destroy Israel, thus continuing the job the Nazis started (one of their dearest wishes), make them the big dog in the region and eventually a world power, and enable them to expand their empire's rule. For this they have impoverished their country, risked war with the USA, and risked isolation from the rest of the world (a small risk since they figure any country that breaks off relations will come back soon, cringing and with its tail between its legs; that has been their experience since 1979, why should it not continue?). So there is nothing anyone can give them that will be more attractive than nukes, no carrot and no stick short of outright war, culminating in the overthrow of the Pharoahs. No one has the spine or the troops for that, so they figure they are safe.

If the Iranians do not overthrow the Pharaohs of Tehran themselves they will get caught in the nuclear crossfire and fried. Once the Ayatollahs start throwing nukes around it will be too late to tell the good Iranians from the minions of the Satanic Ayatollahs. Quite likely there will be few at that point who care enough to bother.
