It isn’t raining rain you know, it’s raining rockets
Rockets continue to fall in Sderot. And the world media continues to ignore this fact.
Palestinians in north Gaza fired two Qassams toward Israel on Tuesday. One rocket struck a vacant Na’amat daycare center in the western Negev city of Sderot, causing slight damage to the building. A woman living nearby suffered from shock as a result of the attack. The second Qassam landed near a gas station outside the city; no injuries or damage were reported.
UPI:
Hamas harrasses Israel with rockets
Six Hamas guerrillas were reported killed by Israeli troops who opened fire on their vehicle near the Gaza village of al-Bereij, IsraelNN.com said. The six were believed to have been involved in an earlier launch of Kassam rockets at nearby Israeli towns.
Scattered incidents of Kassams and mortar rounds being lobbed into Israel from Gaza continued Monday.
The LA Times, in the last two paragraphs of a lengthy article on the EU cutoff of aid to Gaza:
In other developments, Israeli forces killed six Hamas militants in the central Gaza Strip late Monday.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said the men, who were traveling together in a car when attacked by ground forces, had fired mortar rounds into southern Israel.
Israel said Palestinian militants had fired 40 mortar rounds and crude Kassam rockets from Gaza in the last four days.
Are there any articles that cover the constant fall of rockets into Israel outside of the Israeli media?
Nope.
When the world media does mention the rockets, it’s always in an offhand manner, like the UPI saying Hamas is “harassing” Israel with rocket fire. Rocket fire. These rockets have murdered people. But Hamas is using them to “harass.”
Or they are called “crude, homemade rockets,” as if they’re built by the local soapbox derby club that decided to branch out into rocketry—not by trained and meticulous terrorists in workshops that methodically load machined metal tubes with explosives and ball bearings.
What biased media?
