Richmond tied its record high temperature for the date at 12:54 p.m. today when the mercury hit 100 degrees. The record was set in 1977.

Yeah, our Norwegian longhair was meowing at the door and wanting ot go out, so we opened the door and WHOOSH, the heat was like a blast furnace. He considered a moment, turned around and went down to the cool basement!
