The overwhelming majority of my readers are American. I don't need the poll for that. My web statistics can tell me.

I think most Israelis are reading Israeli blogs.

Personally, I'd also like to have seen a question regardging the nationalities of your readers - how many are Americans, howm many are Israelis (like me), how many Brits, etc.

Oddly enough I found myself voting for the "winner" group in every question. Technically speaking I'm Orthodox, but I feel almost no kinship to this branch of Judaism and would've passed into moderate Conservativism had my State of Israel officially acknowledged it. Since they don't I can only define myelf as Conservative while I'm still forced to act on Orthodoxy's code - one of the main reasons I'm angry with the Covervative and Reform movements is that they took an anti-Zionist stance for decades out of petty reasons, and so completely abandoned the Israeli religious institution to the Modern Orthodox and the Haredim. Now both movements try to strike roots with Israelis, but the Orthdoxy is so entrenched it's an uphill battle.

If you want someone who will eat whatever you put in front of him and never says its not quite as good as his mother made it, then buy a dog.

If you want someone always willing to go out, at any hour, for as long and wherever you want, then buy a dog.

If you want someone who will never touch the remote, doesn't care about football, and can sit next to you as you watch romantic movies, then buy a dog.

If you want someone who is content to get up on your bed just to warm your feet and whom you can push off if he snores, then buy a dog !

If you want someone who never criticizes what you do, doesn't care if
you are pretty or ugly, fat or thin, young or old, who acts as if every word you say is especially worthy of listening to, and loves you unconditionally, perpetually, then buy a dog.

But, on the other hand, if you want someone who will never come when you call, ignores you totally when you come home, leaves hair all over the place, walks all over you, runs around all night and only comes home to eat and sleep, and acts as if your entire existence is solely to ensure his happiness, then buy a cat!

I didn't know that, Jay. I didn't take the poll. I just assumed it would let you vote and that would be the end of it.

Well, I'm going to check out the homemade polls on Fantastico and do some programming myself for the next one.

Meryl, your poll is one of the more annoying ones I've ever taken. I had to "vote" on each individual question, then go back to your page for the next one.

Unless, of course, you wanted to see just how many of your readers would put up with the annoyance to give you their feedback...
