Had a Veal T-Bone in honor of PETA(does that stand for "People Eating Tasty Animals"?)The only thing better would have been to add Fois Gras and live-steamed Lobster and really tic them off. Maybe someone could open a steak house where you pick your own"yummy cow"....

Went to Top Notch Burgers in Austin and had their delicious three-piece chicken dinner with slaw and Texas toast.
You don't make friends with salad!

I didn't know about EATAPETA either, and still managed to consume a meaningful amount of cheese, a thing of yogurt, some homemade chicken salad, and a bowl of chili mac which, in addition to plenty of ground beef, also had some nacho cheese sauce in it.

Milk on the cereal at breakfast; shrimp stir-fry for lunch, chicken parmigiana from the Olive Garden (with shredded cheese on both the salad and the entree) for dinner.
And the best part is, I didn't even know about EATAPETA day until I got home tonight!

No meat for breakfast but I did have milk with my cereal. A hot dog for lunch and then chicken for dinner--no lamb or veal this year, but I like to think the chicken started out life as a cute little chick before it got big enough to sacrifice itself for my dinner.

Great idea! I had the mixed grill at a local Mexican place for dinner--pork loin, chicken cutlet, and carne asada.
As a Crohn's disease sufferer, I can't really eat most vegetables, so my diet consists of way more meat than I really should eat. I can't help but feel PETA's vegetarian agenda is at least partly aimed at making sure people like me have nothing at all to eat, because the world would be a lot more comfortable for them if we weren't around.

Well I was serving plates of ham and beans (kidney and white) with tomatoes and for those who wanted it (that'd be me alone)--jalopenos, in a nicely photogenic casserole with lots of red and white when...
The commercial for Charlotte's Web came on TV, and one of the animals informed naive, cute piglet that humans like him alright...for pork.

Beef fajitas on flour tortillas with grilled onion, green pepper, tomato, guacamole, sour cream, goat cheese and salsa with jalapenos.
Pinto beans cooked with ham hock, chili pepper, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce and onion.
Venison sausage.
Potato salad (mayonnaise - not mustard)
Peach cobbler.
The usual suspects (beef and pork) plus something exotic personally sent to its destiny by a friend up the road who runs a small cattle ranch.
Beer

Our family hit the BK 99 cent menu today. 4 Rodeo burgers, 3 Whopper Jrs,
4 cheeseburgers, 3 lg orders of Cheezie Tots and finished off the last gallon of milk. (The boys drink 2 gallons every school day.) Definitely NOT a PETA-friendly household!
