I know about this boat.
The one where you think, Cool, I can sit my sweats, and start work at 10!

And at 1:30, when the kids are getting home from day care, you're still in your sweats.

Still, it's better than getting ridden by a boss, or even worse, a client...

SabbaHillel's friend is absolutely correct. I've had my principal office at home for 18 years (at various renovation project sites at other times). However, having my dog around keeps me calmer than I would be in a more formal office setting.

Take a scritch the kitties break every hour. In the long run, you'll be glad you did.

Perhaps set up an alarm clock and set it to go off at the time that you decide to stop work. Then when it goes off, treat it like the morning alarm clock when you worked at an office. Do NOT hit the snooze button.

I have been told (I do not work from home) by people who do, that they do better when they treat the "home office" as if they are really at a work site. Take your shower, get dressed, etc.

I cannot say that I have done this, but this is what I have been told and one of the people telling me this has worked from home for the past 15 years.
