Is Carter so senile that he does not understand that the Arabs ultimately consider Tel Aviv and every other inch of Israel “occupied Palestinian territory.” Or is this part of his double speak agenda?

I will not support anyone, or any group who fawns over this fool and fails to criticize his anti Israel/Jewish position. I voted for this man twice, and regret my youthfull nievety to this day.

Ah. I see it’s “Palestinian territory” but “Israeli-held land.” Telling. Does Mr. Carter even believe there is such a thing as Israeli territory? Or would that be, to his mind, Brooklyn?

Well, he has one point. Israel has deliberately avoided invoking one "tenet of the Jewish faith" in dealing with the Palestinians. I don't think he'd care for the results of it being invoked, however.

Jimmy Carter is wrong.

Before June 1967 Israel, was by definition and historically documented FACT not in possession of “Palestinian” territory.

And after the 6 day war, the PM of Israel, Levi Eskol offerred to give all the legally captured land, won in a purely defensive war, back to the Arabs for “peace”

The Arabs refused with their infamous, notorious 3 No’s.

And to this day the illegal, by internataional law, government of “Saudi” Arabia, refuses to recognize the mere EXISTENCE of Israel. Let alone it’s right to exist.

They same criminal government whose leading members have given the Carter Center untold MILLIONS of dollars.

Jimmy Carter should be forced to register as the agent of a foreign, illegal occupying government. Not given an honored place in the halls of academe.

In other words, Carter does not think the Arabs need to live up to Security Council Resolution 242, which was deliberately worded to omit the word “all”.

Jimmy Carter, more than any other single person, turned me into a jewish conservative (in the late 70s, when I was still in high school, and jewish conservatives were much rarer than they are today). I turned 18 in time to cast a vote against him, which still gives me pleasure to remember, though I can no longer remember why I voted for Howard Baker in the Republican primary in Md.

I wonder if the German Jews in the 1930’s tried to explain away the Nazi philosophy as just political talk that would not really affect them.

Yes many (or at least some) German Jews, even those that were lucky enough to flee from Germany and come to America, oftentimes still yearned for Germany and felt that the Nazis would eventually get over their anti Semitism. They still thought of themselves as being German first.

Jimmy Carter a failure at President and now a failure as a statesmen; he should go back home and try and raise some peanuts.As Ms Lillian said, “she should have had an abortion”; she did but gave birth to it!!!!
The more Jimmuh talks the smarter Billy looks. What a piece of human waste he is. If Jimmuh was to up and die I can just hear Boy George eulogizing him as a great President and great American. Pardon me while I hurl.
