The unseasonable warmth (only 64F here, though) is wonderful for the cats-- they've been delighted to be able to sun themselves by open windows rather than having everything closed up to keep in the heat.

In the early 60s I was at Brandeis University, and the winters were COLD. In January, we had a thaw and walked around in sandals, Bermuda shorts, and t-shirts.
While we are enjoying the warmth in the NorthEast, Denver is buried under a third blizzard, and my friends in Australia are experiencing a record cold summer.
Climate has never been a constant. Our winters have been later and milder and spring, later and cooler.

That double topless idea is doubtlessly inspired by an overdose of Perfumed Garden, methinks.
But I am all for pushing the envelope.

In Minneapolis Minnesota its been in the high 30's to low 40 range for several weeks. Much better then the "average" low 20's [and typical sub zero -15 this time of year].
I am thinking of taking my 6 month old Vette out for a cruise if it hits 40 degrees [the summer tires on this car are worthless for

Last night at 11:30 I was taking my dog for his last walk and it was so nice I took the top down on my convertible and went for a ride down the GW Parkway to Mt Vernon. He likes it too so it was a good end to his walk.
So at midnight in early January I was cruising around with the top down, no jacket and the heat off.
I'm sure we're going to pay for this soon, but I have another fine day of cruising my convertible around today too.
