The ISG report wants to Munich Israel pretty hard, and not much has been said about that. As for W., I don't think he's a genius. I think he's just a very canny politician with an unusually strong insight into the average Joe. Oddly enough, that puts him in the complany of Queen Victoria, another silver spoon who somehow knew what would resonate below. I'm going to sit back, watch what happens, and hope that the US troops stay in Iraq for as long as possible. I’m not sure about any of this right now. However, I do think it represents the opinions of a very large segment of the country - probably 90% of the Democrats and half the Republicans and most of the rest of the world. Bush is walking a very very narrow tightrope and has to appear to give concessions to those that oppose him, just like the ISG.
