I haven't liked Lorelei in a while, or Rory -- I'm still a fan of Emily and Paris, though. Of course, the Lane is pregnant! With twins! subplot may well drag this season lower than s6. It's hard to say. For starters, it's no longer interesting or funny, most of the time. The characters are unrecognizable. Stars Hollow is now merely background. It's all about the Gilmore Girls And Their Boys now. No Miss Patty, no town meetings, none of the nuttiness that made the show so great. There's no patter any more, and the speed is glacial compared to the Amy seasons. It is, in fact, no longer the Gilmore Girls. It's a pale echo of what it was, or a Pod People version. I don't like anyone in it any more. Not even Lorelai.
