By all means, lift the cat! I’ve seen it around for a few years now. Don’t know who’s it is, but it is awesome.

The Israel-only cease-fire sucks. Always has, always will. Another double-standard: Palestinians want to move into Israel, but when Israel gives up “land-for-peace” they must move out. Can’t have any Jews in Palestine!

Unfortunately, I think Damascus will soon be vapor. I don’t think it will be Israel’s fault, though. I think Iran will just plain miss.

It’s not just your posts that could be recycled.
A few years ago, for a while, E! showed the first few seasons of Saturday Night Live. Watching Weekend Update I was struck at how it looked like current events and this was close to 20 years later. At the time, the Arafish was still alive and the only thing you would have had to do to Bill Murray’s commentary was change the name of the leaders of Israel and it would have sounded like any random news story about the Cycle of Violence from that day.

It absolutely amazes me but it probably shouldn’t. Most people have absolutely no memory. History always seems to start precisely when they want it to and don’t bother them with stuff that happened before that. Like asking people if Clinton lied when he said the same things Bush did about Iraq. Their eyes glaze over they never seem to answer that question or say, “It’s different.”

Of course they’ll land in Israel in a short time if Israel doesn’t escalate. israel’s response will be yet another round of the cycle of violence that grips the Middle East. Arabs trying to kill Jews–Jews trying not to be killed. Same thing, isn’t it?

Perhaps Israel should capture and then launch Qassam rockets back at them. They couldn’t be blamed for using excessive force.
