50 years on and still no solution! Diplomacy has failed. The use of force – also didn’t solve the problem.

Yo may be right but you surely know that for these people “armed resistance” doesn’t usually mean war, but terrorism. The Syrian government has just openly created a terrorist group in the Golan Heights –although they’ll deny to westerners having anything to do with them, and the press will buy the lie. It would still be multi-front, namely this new Syrian proxy group, Hizbollah, and Hamas; and what could al-Fatah and others possibly do but join?
