I think that the brick may be the woman from Las Vegas with the smart child (who may be the gadgeteer) who strips for the webcam. Consider what she did to the two loan shark enforcers when she blacked out.

I hold out a lot of hope for this program. Caught most of Episode One (missed the first 15 minutes) but liked what I saw – a lot.

Hope they don’t screw it up…

Excellent program. I especially like Japanese cubicle-dwelling Spock-worshiping Kitty-Pryde-collecting time-and-space bender. My Hiro!

One question. Don’t cheerleader outfits catch fire and burn off whilst standing in the middle of a fiery inferno? Or is that only for the cable re-broadcast?

Heroes looks good – especially in HD. As for the “everyone is connected” coincidences, I’m going to bet that they end up not being coincidences. But that’s just me.

I hope that the Lost-ripoff “everyone is connected” coincidences don’t last past the first few episodes, but beyond that I really liked it as well.

Other SuperHero(tm) types:

The Leader/Strategist: Cyclops, Mr. Fantastic, Captain America

The Energy Projector: Human Torch, Green Lantern, Iceman,

Martial Artist/Scrapper: Batman, Wolverine

Gageteer/Technologist: Iron Man, Ant Man, Booster Gold

Magician/Psychic: Doctor Strange, Jean Grey, Zatanna, Dr. Fate, Karma

Of course lots of heroes combine and mix up the types, for example Black Canary is equal amounts Martial Artist and Energy Projector. Hawkeye is a Gageteer, Scrapper and Leader.
