Now explain this away

Watcher has discovered (how the heck does he do it?) an interesting poll conducted by Al Jazeera. One of the main results is that 49.9% of the Muslims support Osama Bin Laden.

The results were conveniently hidden in the Arabic only part of Al Jazeera, probably to save the “progressive” Western crowd the headache of explaining the results.

Still , be interesting to hear some tranquilizing noises from we-do-not-condone-but-we-understand and from Bush-and-Zionists-cause-all-this-trouble folks.

Actually, I would have had guessed even more support him.

  2. Alex Bensky says:

Well, I keep reading that Islam does not equal terrorism and terrorist Moslems are a fringe group. Nearly half is one hell of a fringe group.

  3. Watcher says:

    Technically, 49.9% is still a minority. ;-)

  4. Yeah, but 49.9 will be definitely a controlling interest in most corporations…

  5. Michael Lonie says:

That same 49.9% will simultaneously tell you a) bin Laden is a great Muslim hero who struck a telling blow against the evil Great Satan with the 9/11 attacks, and b) that Muslims had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks which were perpetrated by the nasty Zionists, despite bin Laden’s admission of it and indeed his boasting of directing the attacks. Reasoning, consistent logic, and facts seem to have small popularity among Muslims in general.

  6. Watcher says:

Anyway, according to “good Muslims”, 49.9% is just a “tiny minority” that doesn’t represent the “real Islam”. In this case, what IS the real Islam and where can we see it in action?
