When the Israelis rushed with their tanks, huge road-side bombs exploded destroying two tanks and killing an additional four Israeli soldiers. This attack was preceded by at least 30 missiles fired at Israel command and control posts. Hezbullah seems to launch its operation in support of the besieged Palestinians in Gaza whom are being killed, point blank, by Israeli Tank fires..." I dunno. Syria no longer has the outside support it once had. With Iraq a Democracy (and ambivalent to the baby Assad Regime), Iran on the other side of Iraq and Lebanon not happy with Syria; why not have the IDF march on Damascus? I'll say it again: Why not have the IDF march on Damascus? Being that the regime is supported by only a fraction of the population and with no real allies left, all Israel would have to do is march in, Liberate the people, and leave. Being that the regime is supported by only a fraction of the population and with no real allies left, all Israel would have to do is march in, Liberate the people, and leave.

The new government couldn’t possible be more hostile to Israel than they are now anyway…

Plus, perhaps Hamas will keep including him in their meetings - it's a bit harder to sneak in a guy who can't move, so perhaps this will lead to the elimination of more terrorists. We can only hope.
