The Hizbullah attack: Kofi Annan condemns—Israel

Kofi Annan, showing the ineptitude for which he is most famous, condemned Israel’s reaction to the attack, murder, and kidnapping of her soldiers.

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan called Wednesday for the immediate release of kidnapped Israeli soldiers and condemned Israel’s immediate retaliation.

“I condemn without reservations the attack in southern Lebanon, and demand that Israeli troops to be released immediately,” Anna said after a meeting in Rome with Premier Romano Prodi.

Way to go, Kofi. That’ll show the world that you actually care about Israel.

For those hairsplitters among you who make think he’s really condemning the Hizbullah attack: He used the words “southern Lebanon,” not “northern Israel.”

Apparently, Israel is not allowed to defend herself or respond to an attack on her territory and people.

shell we talke about who started this war by kidnapping two peoples while lunching missiles toward civilian’s cities and the fact that Israel is doing the hard work which will server the Lebanese government by returning it own land to its hand instead of the Hezbollah’s hands.

But, let’s condemn Israel. Why? Because that’s what the Arab’s media says and we believe to every single word.

In a world that seems to be going increasingly insane the SG of the United Nations condemns the very country that was attacked w/out provocation How do we protest in the strongest terms this outrageous position? Coming from the one person who could try instead to diplomatically resolve by adhering to the sanctions proposed and passed by the UN, but instead choses to fan the flames of hatred instead of condemning a terrorist organization.
