From Jerusalem Post june 10th: "Defense Minister Amir Peretz on Saturday expressed his condolences to Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas for the explosion of an IDF artillery shell on a Gaza beach on Friday that left seven civilians dead." Even with the IDF report coming out, it is not possible to reverse the PR damage already done. Unfortunately, “The world has spoken: Blame the Jews.” includes the Israeli government whose initial response was to assume blame.
