However I still feel it should have been included in the story to give the best overall picture, and also to show the difference between Israel's reaction to this (apologies, amends etc), and the palestinians' usual reaction to knocking off a few more israelis (jubilation etc). The IDF confirmed the Gaza coast deaths, saying that it regretted the harm done to innocent civilians and offering the Palestinians any assistance needed, including evacuation to Israeli hospitals.

Just like what we hear from the PA after a terrorist bombing in Israel, right?

As Meryl says, an excuse. When they start showing even a fraction of the concern for protecting their innocent civilians that Israel does, I’ll start buying the outrage.
