I won't use gmail as my main email account. I only established an account for Google Talk.

I am not interested in using any email account that tracks my emails and markets to me as a result of that tracking.

Luckilly my yahoo(my DSL provider verizon.net has an agreement with them to filter spam)and gmail.com providers appear to filter these spam messages quite well at the server level. I now receive spam very rarely. I would suggest switching to gmail.com for your emil and you would probably see the amount of spam drop. Then again, as a blogger you might be the target of much more spam than I am.

I get exactly the same thing, and since we have Lotus Notes here at work (the most hideous email client ever) we can't load any real anti-spam plugin.

What's the content of the spam.
I'm getting similar stuff and the content is a jpg of a page about stock market tips.
And the sender address is always different so I don't want to clog up the anti spam filter with them. I'm hoping if I continue to ignore them they'll get bored and go away
