Holiday greetings
Happy Easter to all my Christian readers.
Say, do you guys actually eat all those hardboiled eggs, or do they get thrown away? Because personally, I like two hardboiled eggs in my lunch salad.

They get thrown away. Who wants to eat a green egg anyway?

I ate them back before I made the switch to Judaism. Every single last one, even when the dye leaked through the shell. But most people in my family recoiled in horror from them.

In my family, we did eat the eggs. Still, it was fun hunting for them easter morning.

Before I converted to Judaism, we ate them; we used a special recipe for Easter breakfast to use them up. It’s called Eggs Goldenrod. You make a basic white sauce, chop the whites into it, sieve the yolks to sprinkle on top so it looks like flowers. Served on toast or biscuits. (I still make this sometimes, I just don’t wait for Easter.)
