Hamas: There is no Israel

Once again, Hamas has stated its intentions. They will never recognize, negotiate, or have true peace with Israel. Once again, the world will ignore this and continue to recognize and fund the openly anti-Israel, openly terrorist organization. And this was said on its trip to Russia, where Vladimir Putin is of the opinion that Hamas might actually negotiate.

MOSCOW (AP) – Hamas’ political leader, on a groundbreaking visit to Russia, rejected on Friday any discussion about the militant group’s refusal to recognize Israel’s right to exist, dealing a setback to Moscow’s efforts to persuade it to soften its stance.

“The issue of recognition (of Israel) is a decided issue,” said Hamas’ exiled political leader, Khaled Mashaal, upon arrival in Moscow for talks with Russian officials. “We don’t intend to recognize Israel.”

So, who else is going to jump on the Hamas bandwagon? South Africa announced yesterday that they’re only too happy to give the terrorists another podium. Because Hamas is ever so accomodating to suggestions of change.

After arriving in Moscow, Mashaal accused Israel of blocking the Mideast peace process and said Israel’s “occupation” of Palestinian lands will top the agenda in the Moscow talks.

Omri (who is finally back from his posting hiatus) is going to have fun with that quote. It’s Israel’s fault that the peace process is blocked, not because Hamas won’t recognize or negotiate with Israel. Because of the “occupation.” I would point out to you that Hamas considers all of Israel to be “occupied” palestinian land. The world chooses to ignore this fact, too. South Africa certainly does. They’ve joined the list of countries that want to talk to the Jew-killing terrorists that are Hamas.

This quote points out that Russians are just as blind and stupid as Western analysts:

“Hamas won’t listen to Russia because Moscow has no real levers of influence over them,” said Fyodor Lukyanov, editor of the foreign policy magazine Russia in Global Affairs. “This is not the time of the Soviet Union, when we had real clout in the region.”

Hamas is a religious-based entity. Russia would have had no clout with them back then, except they probably would have been supplying them with weapons.

Peronsally, I think a lot of problems can be solved if the IAF took out Mashaal’s plane on the way there or back, but that’s just me thinking outside the box.

Yet another in the growing list of failures by the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As best as I can tell, their mission statement seems to be protraying Israel and Israelis in the worse possible light.

Another example of IMFA ‘expertise’ is how deftly they have handled the issue of “War Crimes” persecution against Senior IDF Military personnel.

    Not!

One does not need to be paranoid to conclude the IMFA is really the diplomatic arm of the terrorist PA-Hamas regime. But not of the GOI.

  2. Sounds like a few embassies in Tel Aviv need to start having their sewer lines reversed.

That would be redundent, because they’re full of crap already, Lair.
