Honest Reporting has a report on the “pragmatist.”

Then there’s this:

Ismail Haniyeh, a leading Hamas figure from the Gaza Strip, told The Associated Press that recognition of Israel is “out of the question. What we would like to emphasize is that the Israeli occupation has to recognize first the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.”

Yes, a pragmatist. That $180,000 PR flack is paying off again.

  1. Eric J says:

Murder and terrorism have been extremely useful tools for the Palestinians. That makes anyone who advocates for them a pragmatist.

  2. Joel says:

Ever notice how Israeli poltiicians or political parties are always referred to as “hardline”, “right wing”, “extremist”?

  3. Paul M says:

The $180,000 spent on PR was a complete and utter waste of money. Europe and the American Left would have found their own way to reconcile support for a Hamas government with their love of Israel in about 24 hours without any additional help.

With most of the Palestinian population living below the poverty line, Hamas could have dispensed with the PR flack and put the money towards explosives.
