What truce?

So let’s see. In the past few days:

Hamas talks about a long-term “hudna.”

I repeat: What truce?

  1. A lot of great points there, Meryl, as usual. I see a distinction between Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and Islamic Jihad is clearly the group sending up the Qassam rockets. But certainly there appears to be no truce here whatsoever. And Israel needs to recognize that.

  2. What Jimmy Carter thinks Israel should continue to ignore

Meryl Yourish has a round-up: What truce? Abbas has been unable or unwilling to do anything up until now. What will more time do for him?…

  3. The rest of the world needs to recognize it and stop complaining about Israel defending herself and her people. The complaints of the hypocrites when Israel kills some of these swine are just too nauseating to bear. Time, long past time, for the rest of the world to recognize that all the Palestinian factions are just the same murdering, genocidal scum that Hamas is. Hamas is just more in-your-face about it than, say, Fatah.
