One minor hope, Bush said we should not deal with a government that denied a whole people the right to exist. Of course, that was pre-election, and disregarded some other actions elsewhere - but the various flavors of PA are the only ones (well, recently Iran) to make it plain, and Hamas the first to propose outright genocide in writing. Even the Nasties made some attempt to hide their program, and Sudan is still denying any government backing of their own race war. Gang war. Ugly.
