I'm no fan of Meretz's Zehava Gal-On, but she's got a point when she says in the article I linked to here: <b>Meretz Faction Chairwoman Zahava Gal-On also slammed the recommendation: "While the prime minister is fighting for his life, Kadima is exploiting his struggle to win mandates."</b> Ehud Olmert, now the party's leader, is an opportunist, and any charm he may have once had vanished years ago. It comes as no real surprise to me that he'd try to exploit an elderly man who may never be the same again after the illness he went through.
