I&#039;m no fan of Meretz&#039;s Zehava Gal-On, but she&#039;s got a point when she says in the article I linked to here:
&lt;b&gt;Meretz Faction Chairwoman Zahava Gal-On also slammed the recommendation: &quot;While the prime minister is fighting for his life, Kadima is exploiting his struggle to win mandates.&quot;&lt;/b&gt;
Ehud Olmert, now the party&#039;s leader, is an opportunist, and any charm he may have once had vanished years ago. It comes as no real surprise to me that he&#039;d try to exploit an elderly man who may never be the same again after the illness he went through.</description>
