Gee. Putting the word “lies” after the phrase “Messianic Jews.” I think that could be interpreted as something other than traditional antisemitism. Is there any reason to think this was directed specifically at the Messianics [who, by my lights, lie about their own Jewish nature!]

Almost all the menorahs vandalized have been Chabad public menorahs. I hate to think how few menorahs we would see in public places, were it not for these indomitable rabbis all over the ~~country~~ world. Without them, it would be even more deeply bleak than the vandalism is disturbing.

Kol hakavod to Meryl for keeping track and to Chabad for keeping those menorahs coming. Chag Sameach, everyone.

Some people just don’t get it. The natural tendency of any minority group is to assimilate. By segregating and oppressing such groups you are preventing them from assimilating. You want to get rid of Jews etc., you let them assimilate.

And don’t worry about the genetics of it all, it’s a mish-mash anyway.

Marry Jews, invite Jews to your 4H clud, adopt Jewish holidays. Before you know it your town will be observing Yom Kippur without a Jew in sight.

(The Japanese-American population in the US. is falling because Japanese-Americans are assimilating themselves out of existance. If it can work for Japanese-Americans, why not Jewish-Americans? :) )
